About Organisation
The Department of Innovation, Incubation and Start-ups (DIIS) is the Government of Assam’s nodal department responsible for developing the state’s startup and innovation ecosystem. The department coordinates startup policy, recognition, funding programmes and incubation initiatives through the Assam Innovation & Startup Foundation. Its programmes support entrepreneurs at different stages, from idea development and prototyping to early revenue and growth. The state’s startup ecosystem provides funding, mentoring, incubation, market access and other support to eligible ventures. About the Grant
The Assam Startup Call for Grant Applications 2026 provides grant support to eligible startups at the idea and prototype or MVP stages. Who can Apply?

An entity must generally be registered in Assam or employ, or commit to employ, at least 25% of its qualified workforce from Assam.
