About Organisation
Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is an autonomous society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India. STPI works to strengthen India’s technology ecosystem through infrastructure, incubation, entrepreneurship and support for technology businesses. Its Electropreneur Park initiative focuses on Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and supports innovators and startups developing electronics and hardware technologies. Electropreneur Park 2.0 builds on the earlier programme by expanding incubation, mentoring, prototyping and funding support. The initiative works with academic, industry and government partners to encourage indigenous product development, innovation and entrepreneurship within India’s growing electronics and deep-tech ecosystem.bal issues.
About the Grant
The Electropreneur Park 2.0 Open Challenge Programme supports innovators and startups working on innovative solutions in Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) and cognitive computing or social sensing. The programme offers access to incubation facilities, ESDM laboratories, prototyping support, mentoring, go-to-market assistance, seed-fund and investment support, software resources and intellectual-property assistance. Focus areas include MedTech, EdTech, automotive electronics, strategic electronics, electric vehicles, defence, drones and other relevant technologies. The broader Electropreneur 2.0 programme has a ₹46.78 crore budgetary outlay and aims to build a stronger ESDM innovation ecosystem.
Who can Apply?
The Electropreneur Park 2.0 Open Challenge Programme is open to students, budding entrepreneurs and startups developing innovative solutions in ESDM or cognitive computing and social sensing. Eligible applicants may include individuals at the ideation stage requiring prototype-development support, early or pre-revenue startups, prototype-stage ventures and startups with breakthrough technologies. Relevant areas include MedTech, EdTech, automotive electronics, strategic electronics, EVs, defence, drones and other ESDM applications. The programme particularly supports innovators who need access to prototyping facilities, technical mentoring, incubation, market support and funding or investment opportunities.
How to Apply?
Applicants should develop an innovative technology or product concept within the programme’s eligible domains and submit their application through the Electropreneur Park 2.0 Open Challenge Programme. Eligible students, entrepreneurs and startups should provide information about their solution, technology and development stage. Applications undergo pre-screening followed by screening and onboarding by the relevant selection committee. Successful applicants can access incubation, laboratories, mentoring, prototyping, business support and funding-related opportunities.
