About the Grant
The EnergyLab Scaleup Program 2026 is designed to help late-stage climate and clean energy startups collaborate with established energy companies to deploy innovative solutions for decarbonising the energy sector. Delivered virtually between June and October 2026, the program provides founders with strategic industry exposure, mentorship, and investor access. Participants gain opportunities to pilot technologies, explore commercial partnerships, and expand into the Australian and New Zealand markets, while building long-term relationships within the regional and global energy ecosystem.
Who can Apply?
The program is open to innovative, late-stage startups and energy companies developing clean energy or climate tech solutions. Applicants may be based anywhere in the world, with international startups encouraged to apply. Eligible applicants should have a scalable solution relevant to the energy sector and demonstrate readiness to engage with industry partners and investors. Startups must be able to commit time to virtual modules, industry meetings, and public showcase events throughout the program duration.
How to Apply?
Applicants must complete and submit an online application form by the stated deadline. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews with the EnergyLab team to assess program fit. Selected applicants may also participate in partner meetings or pitch sessions. Final participants are chosen based on alignment with industry needs, scalability, and potential impact on energy sector decarbonisation.
