About the Grant
The AICS Humanitarian Assistance Sudan Grant supports non-profit organizations delivering lifesaving aid to displaced persons, refugees, and host communities affected by conflict in Sudan. With a total budget of EUR 5 million, the initiative funds projects across Food/Nutrition, Health, WASH, Emergency Education, and Protection sectors. Grants range up to EUR 600,000 for single applicants and EUR 1.2 million for joint proposals, with project durations of up to 18 months. Who can Apply?
Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations registered under Italian law with proven experience in humanitarian aid. Organizations must demonstrate the capacity to implement field operations in Sudan while complying with security protocols coordinated with the Italian Embassy. Applicants should have no record of negligence or outstanding obligations in previous projects. Proposals must show strong operational, financial, and monitoring capabilities.
