About the Grant

The Agribusiness Incubation Programme India 2026 aims to support agri and allied sector startups with innovative minimum viable products that demonstrate strong growth and commercialization potential. Through the PM-RKVY RAFTAAR R-ABI Cohort 8 initiative, selected startups receive financial assistance, business mentoring, training, and networking opportunities to accelerate their development. The programme focuses on agritech innovation, farm mechanization, hi-tech agriculture, renewable energy, ICT and IoT solutions, biotechnology, food processing, post-harvest technology, supply chain management, and animal husbandry. It seeks to help startups scale operations, strengthen market readiness, and contribute to agricultural transformation and rural development.

Who can Apply?

The programme is open to startups operating in agriculture and allied sectors that have developed innovative minimum viable products. Eligible applicants must be registered as a Partnership Firm, Limited Liability Partnership (LLP), or Private Limited Company. Startups should be working in areas such as agritech, biotechnology, food processing, farm mechanization, renewable energy, supply chain solutions, animal husbandry, ICT, and IoT applications for agriculture. Applicants must be willing to enroll as members of ABIS-TBI and actively participate in the incubation programme. Preference may be given to startups demonstrating scalability, innovation, market potential, and positive impact on agriculture.

How to Apply?

Interested startups should prepare their application detailing the business concept, innovation, minimum viable product, market opportunity, and growth strategy. Applicants must ensure their business is legally registered under an eligible structure and meets programme requirements. Shortlisted startups may undergo evaluation and pitching processes before selection. Successful applicants will gain access to funding support, training programmes, mentorship, and networking opportunities through the incubation programme.
