The Red Action Lab – Cohort 2 is a flagship 9-month fellowship program by Femfuture Collective that supports grassroots champions in rural and peri-urban India. The fellowship is designed to equip young leaders with the tools, knowledge, and skills needed to address gender inequality and promote reproductive health, body literacy, and climate action. Through a structured action-learning model, fellows are guided to implement on-ground projects while fostering leadership, innovation, and community collaboration. The program adopts a gender-transformative approach that encourages fellows to challenge systemic barriers and amplify collective action. Participants gain exposure to real-world challenges, develop critical facilitation skills, and learn how to create impact-driven interventions. The fellowship is open to individuals between the ages of 18 and 25 who have completed at least their 12th-grade education and are comfortable engaging with community members on sensitive topics. Paid at ₹40,000 over 9 months in four goal-based installments, the fellowship emphasizes practical learning, intersectionality, and inclusivity. Red Action Lab brings together a diverse cohort from various lived experiences to co-create a feminist and socially just future.
