Who can Apply?
This social science research funding opportunity is open to individual researchers and research institutions based in West Africa and the Sahel. Eligible researchers must be nationals of these regions, possess French-speaking capabilities, and hold a recent Doctorate (within five years) or a Master’s degree (within eight years) while pursuing doctoral studies. Applicants must demonstrate the ability to collaborate with policy-focused institutions. Eligible institutions must be legally registered, operational for at least two years, and experienced in producing research that contributes to public policy discussions. Institutional support and a collaborative research approach are mandatory for all applications.
