About the Grant

The PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator – Sustainability Edition 2025 is an initiative designed to support APAC-based startups that focus on sustainability-driven innovations. The program provides a structured pathway for startups to refine their products, gain industry insights, and receive financial backing. It aims to empower businesses that are working on circular economy models, climate action solutions, and sustainable agricultural technologies.

Selected startups will participate in a pilot-based program where they can collaborate with PepsiCo’s experts, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and gain real-world feedback on their solutions. The program spans from April to September and offers startups access to PepsiCo’s extensive network and resources.

The Greenhouse Accelerator is a non-dilutive funding program, meaning participants retain full ownership of their business while benefiting from PepsiCo’s support. In addition to financial grants, the program helps startups refine their business models and develop scalable, market-ready solutions that align with PepsiCo’s sustainability goals, including reducing plastic waste, enhancing renewable energy use, and promoting regenerative agriculture.

By participating, startups not only secure funding but also gain valuable insights and networking opportunities to drive their business growth and maximize their impact on sustainability.

Who can Apply?

The PepsiCo Greenhouse Accelerator program is open to startups operating in the APAC region that are working on innovative sustainability solutions. Eligible startups must meet the following criteria:

  • Revenue Stage: Startups should be in the pre-revenue phase or have generated up to $7 million USD in sales in the last financial year.
  • Geographical Presence: The business must have operations in at least one of the participating APAC countries, including China, Singapore, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Brunei, Cambodia, East Timor, Fiji, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, and Vietnam.
  • Prototype and IP: Applicants should have a working prototype and ownable intellectual property.
  • Scalability and Impact: The solution should be viable, scalable, and aligned with PepsiCo’s sustainability goals, including reducing plastic waste, increasing recycled content, advancing renewable energy, and promoting regenerative agriculture.
  • Commitment to Program: Selected startups must be willing to collaborate with PepsiCo’s Greenhouse Accelerator mentors and attend key events from April to September 2025.
  • Diversity Focus: The program encourages balanced participation, aiming for equal representation of male and female founders across different geographical regions.

How to Apply?

Interested startups must submit an application outlining their innovative solution, business model, and potential impact on sustainability. The selection process evaluates innovation, partnership potential, scalability, and alignment with PepsiCo’s sustainability goals. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for further discussions and program participation.

Grant Amount

Each selected finalist will receive a non-dilutive grant of $20,000 USD, with the overall program winner being awarded an additional $100,000 USD.
