About Organisation

The I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC) is the Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi, established under the Department of Science and Technology’s National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS). Since its inception in 2020, IHFC has focused on advancing cutting-edge technologies through collaboration between academia, industry, and government. The organization supports innovation in areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and smart systems. By fostering partnerships and providing funding, IHFC aims to accelerate the translation of research into scalable solutions that address real-world challenges, particularly in sectors like agriculture, sustainability, and industrial automation.

About the Grant

KrishiTech Synapse 2026 is an initiative by IHFC, IIT Delhi, in collaboration with Parachute Kalpavriksha and IIT Ropar’s iHub-AWaDH. The program aims to bridge the gap between research and real-world agricultural deployment by supporting deep-tech innovations. It focuses on transforming promising technologies into scalable solutions across the agrifood value chain. Key areas include pre-sowing, farm mechanization, post-harvest management, and sustainable value chain integration. The initiative provides a strong platform for innovators to validate and deploy technologies at scale. It is designed to drive efficiency, productivity, and sustainability in India’s agriculture sector through advanced technological interventions.

Who can Apply?

The program is open to a diverse group of applicants, including academic and research institutions, agri-tech startups, companies, individual innovators, and industry-academia consortia. Applicants must have a prototype-ready solution with a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4 or above, indicating that the innovation has moved beyond basic research. Projects should demonstrate strong potential for real-world implementation and scalability in the agriculture sector. Collaborative proposals involving multiple stakeholders are encouraged. The focus is on solutions that can address practical challenges across farming operations, value chains, and sustainability while delivering measurable impact in agricultural productivity and efficiency.

How to Apply?

Applicants are required to submit a detailed project proposal outlining their technology, use case, and implementation plan. The submission should highlight innovation, scalability, and impact potential in agriculture. Proposals must be submitted through the official application platform before the deadline. Shortlisted applicants may be invited for further evaluation and discussions as part of the selection process.
