About the Grant
The Core Research Grant Program 2026 provides funding of up to USD 200,000 for investigator-led scholarly research aligned with the foundation’s research priorities and special initiatives. The programme supports high-quality, peer-reviewed projects that generate new knowledge and promote academic excellence. Funding may be used for researcher salaries, eligible research expenses, and approved project costs. Grants exceeding USD 75,000 also include an additional 15% indirect cost according to programme guidelines. By offering flexible financial support, the programme enables researchers to focus on innovative studies with strong academic value and the potential for meaningful scientific and societal impact.
Who can Apply?
The programme is open to Principal Investigators (PIs) and Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs) from anywhere in the world. Applicants are generally expected to hold a doctoral degree. However, exceptional candidates without a doctorate may also apply if they demonstrate a distinguished academic or professional background and proven ability to conduct high-quality, peer-reviewed scholarly research. There are no nationality or institutional location restrictions, making the programme accessible to eligible researchers globally.
