About the Grant

The Mukherjee Fellowship is a full-time, immersive programme designed to prepare young professionals for careers in policymaking and political strategy consulting. Who can Apply?

The fellowship is open exclusively to Indian citizens who demonstrate a strong interest in public policy, politics, and governance. Applicants must be 25 years of age or below, born on or after 1 January 2001 for the 2026–27 cohort. Recent graduates and final-year university students are eligible to apply. Candidates should show leadership potential, commitment to public service, and the ability to engage with complex political and policy environments.
