About Organisation
The IHRA offers grants to fund projects focused on preserving the memory of the Holocaust and the genocide of the Roma and countering their distortion. Projects must demonstrate a strong international component and align with one of two program areas:
Program 1: Safeguarding the Record
- Focus: Protecting and expanding historical records related to the Holocaust and Roma genocide.
- Project examples: Preserving survivor testimonies, documenting historical sites, and safeguarding archival materials.
Program 2: Countering Distortion
- Focus: Preventing and combating misinformation about the Holocaust and Roma genocide.
- Project examples: Addressing distortion in media, education, and public discourse.
Key criteria for all projects:
- Innovation and impact.
- Collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Alignment with IHRA’s goals and values.
About the Grant
The most quantity of investment that may be granted to an organization by this grant application is €30,000. The length of this funding is confined to a most of 24 months.
Who can Apply?
- The IHRA Grant Strategy welcomes programs from agencies and institutions international devoted to Holocaust and Roma genocide schooling, remembrance, and studies.
- Applications, including attachments, have to be submitted electronically.
- Each organization can put up only one utility consistent with the year.
- The IHRA has a “Sunset Rule”: an organization can get hold of funding for a maximum of three consecutive years, observed by using a one-year ready length before reapplying.
