About the Grant

Grants will be approximately $50,000 for projects using lower-cost sensors and $75,000 or more for those using regulatory-grade equipment. Awardees are expected to generate and share PM2.5 data to achieve a national-level impact and may be considered for renewal based on performance.
Who can Apply?
- The EPIC Air Quality Fund is open to governmental and non-governmental organizations globally, including universities, non-profits, for-profits, NGOs, and CSOs.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to receive funds from a U.S. institution and have a working bank account for U.S. transactions.
- Applications are particularly encouraged from countries identified by EPIC as having high or medium-high opportunities for improving PM2.5 data coverage.
- Applicants must also verify legal compliance for PM2.5 monitoring and data sharing in their country.
