About Organisation
The Interreg VI-A Greece–Italy 2021–2027 Programme is a European Territorial Cooperation initiative funded by the European Union to strengthen collaboration between Greece and Italy. The programme promotes sustainable regional development by supporting joint actions that improve governance, innovation, environmental protection, and institutional cooperation across the border region. It encourages public authorities, non-profit organisations, and other stakeholders to work together on common territorial challenges through shared planning and knowledge exchange. By financing collaborative projects, the programme contributes to stronger partnerships, better public services, and long-term economic, social, and environmental development within the eligible Greece–Italy cooperation area.
About the Grant
The Interreg Greece–Italy Small Scale Projects 2026 supports collaborative initiatives that enhance institutional capacity and strengthen cross-border cooperation between eligible organisations in Greece and Italy. Projects should focus on improving governance, developing joint territorial strategies, strengthening public sector cooperation, and addressing shared regional challenges. Supported initiatives are expected to create practical cross-border solutions, improve policy implementation, and contribute to sustainable development within the Greece–Italy programme area.
