With a focus on healthcare innovation, patient advocacy, and championing UN SDG Goal #3: Good Health & Well-Being, we honor Ms. Jazz Sethi. She is a force for positive change in the lives of those with type 1 diabetes and a champion for accessible healthcare for all.
Founder of Diabesties – Jazz Sethi’s journey is deeply connected to a personal health challenge.
Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in her youth, she turned her experience into a mission. Recognizing the lack of resources and support for those with the condition, she founded The Diabesties Foundation, a global movement dedicated to making those with type 1 diabetes feel heard, supported, understood, and celebrated.
Through The Diabesties Foundation, Jazz tirelessly advocates for patients, spreads awareness, and fights for access to affordable insulin and healthcare. Her initiatives have directly supported a community of over 15,000 type 1 diabetes families. A recent project has already distributed over $350,000 USD worth of insulin supplies to over 500 children.
Her work extends to collaborations with healthcare organizations and policy makers, aiming to transform systemic gaps in diabetes care.
Jazz Sethi’s journey is marked by both personal resilience and an unwavering commitment to community. A certified diabetes educator and Young Leader of Diabetes for South East Asia (2019-2022 term) with the International Diabetes Federation, she’s a global voice for change.
Ms. Jazz Sethi reminds us that entrepreneurship isn’t just about business; it’s about harnessing your passion to transform lives for the better.
“Life is not a sprint, it is actually a marathon.” ~ Jazz Sethi
